Status yellow thunderstorm warnings have been issued for the midlands.
People in Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and the rest of Leinster are being warned to expect heavy downpours with thunderstorms from midnight tonight until 2pm tomorrow afternoon.
A separate warning is in place for Cork and Waterford from 10pm tonight until 3am tomorrow morning.
While Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo will be impacted from 7am tomorrow until 5pm tomorrow evening.
A similar alert for the north will be in place from 6am tomorrow until 9pm tomorrow night.
