A specialist in public health in the midlands says he's very concerned to see over a quarter of covid cases in Ireland are among 16 to 25 year olds.

The HSE is advising everyone to take up the offer of a free vaccine, as cases of the Delta variant increase.

16 and 17 year olds can register for the vaccine from today.

HSE Midlands has issued a warning after reports of young people deliberately catching covid in order to get a Digital Cert quicker.
