Midlands Heritage Sites Receive €300,000 In Funding

Westmeath Council County is the only local authority in the region not to receive funding.

Over €300,000  is being allocated to heritage projects in the midlands. 

Fort Eliza in Banagher, Birr Courthouse and Lea Church of Ireland in Killenard are all getting grants of €50,000. 

Nationally, €3 million is being given under the Historic Structures Fund.
