There's been an increase in the number of homeless people nationally.
202 people were homeless in the midlands last month.
The Homeless Report for September shows that's a reduction of seven on the figures for August.
There were 60 adults without permanent accommodation in Westmeath last month, surpassing Offaly for the largest number - the figure there is 55.
30 adults in Laois were homeless last month, while there were 57 children without permanent accommodation in the midlands.
Nationally, 12,827 people were registered as homeless in September, an increase of over 130 from August's figure - nearly four thousand of those are children.
The Midlands Simon Community says the scale of the homelessness problem and the time of year are a "major concern."
