Irish Sporting Stars To Gather At Midlands Mental Health Event

Sport and mental health are on the agenda at a midlands hotel this evening.

The state of people's mental health is important at every level of sport according to a former Laois GAA Star.

Colm Begley will be joined by a number of Irish sport stars in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise this evening for a free public talk on sport and mental health.

There have been a number of high profile incidents of abuse at GAA matches over the last number of months, and the Stradbally man says events like the one taking place this evening can help develop more understanding:
