The "How Much Is Your House Worth" survey has looked at county-by-county trends for 2024.
Midlands house prices are up 3% year-on-year.
That's one of the findings of the Irish Independent's "How Much Is Your House Worth 2024" survey, which analyses housing trends in every county in the country.
It found house prices are up 6% in Offaly, with an average figure there of €278,000.
A price tag of €220,000 in Laois represents a jump of 3% year-on-year, while prices are up just 1% in Westmeath - the average fee there is €252,000.
