Homes being built across Laois has declined, while Offaly and Westmeath has increased.
There's a mixed picture when it comes the construction of residential buildings in the Midlands.
The 1,067 homes being built in Laois last year is the highest in the region, but represents a 22% decline when compared to the year previous.
The figure of 839 in Westmeath is up 48% on the number from 2024, while the number of new addresses added in Offaly is up 37% to 600.
Nationally more than 37,000 new residential address points were recorded over the past year, while residential construction activity rose by almost 28%.
