The funds are part of the LGBTI+ Youth Fund for 2024.
A Midlands group is lined up for new State funding from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
The LGBTI+ Community Services Funding Call and the LGBTI+ Youth Fund for 2024 will see 1.4 million euro distributed to 24 community based projects.
Midlands LGBT+ Project, which covers Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Kildare will be granted 88 thousand 452 euro.
The funding is being granted to support organisations across Ireland to assist the development of rural community infrastructure to be inclusive and welcoming of LGBTI+ persons, and address gaps in services.
