Midlands Local Authority Asking People To Avoid Public Amenities

The county council says it's vital to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Laois County Council are requesting the public to avoid public amenities and public walkways in large numbers.

The local authority says It is vital at this time that we all strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Gardai are advising people that the car parks in Glenbarrow at the Slieve Bloom Mountains are now closed until further notice due to social distancing. 

They are asking the public to  avoid locations that may attract large crowds.
