A Royal National Lifeboat Institution member attended the London garden party over the weekend.
The Lough Ree Royal National Lifeboat Institution has been represented at a Buckingham Palace garden party.
The RNLI 200th Anniversary Garden Party was in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and RNLI President HRH The Duke of Kent.
Around 2,500 of the RNLI’s long-serving lifeboat crew, lifeguards, water safety volunteers and recent recipients of meritorious service awards attended.
Damien Delaney, founding volunteer and Launch Authority, represented the Lough Ree RNLI at the celebration.
