A midlands man has won an Emmy for his work on one of the biggest TV shows of 2023.
Westmeath's Johnny Murphy was a member of the team which took home Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for their work on HBO's The Last of Us.
They received the award at the 75th Creative Arts Emmys Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
In a post on social media, Mr. Murphy says working on the show continues to be the best job of his life, and he will be forever grateful for the experience.
The Last of Us, which stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, took home 8 Emmys in total.
