Labour's Aodhan O Riordain has been elected to the Dublin constituency.
There are still seats in the European parliament to be filled in the Midlands Northwest and South constituencies.
The counting of votes in both will resume again later this morning.
Labour's Aodhan O Riordain and Regina Doherty of Fine Gael have been elected to the European Parliament for the first time.
O Riordain overtook former radio presenter Niall Boylan in the 19th and last count in the RDS last night to take the 4th and final seat for Dublin.
They will join returning MEP Barry Andrews of Fianna Fail, and Lynn Boylan of Sinn Fein who has been re-elected having lost her seat in 2019.
