Midlands People Being Conned By "Professional Beggars"

An Offaly Councillor calling on the local authority to put a by-law in place to prevent this from happening.

People in a midlands town are being conned by "professional beggars."

That's according to Tullamore Councillor Tony McCormack, who says he's witnessed a group of men begging for money, and then "driving away in a Mercedes."

He's calling on the local authority to put a by-law in place to prevent this from happening.
