A midlands retailers says the government isn't even offering a lifeboat to sector.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar says the continued emergence of covid variants means the government can't offer dates for the reopening of society.

But Paul Lynam, from The King Oak home interior store and café in Tullamore, says it's extremely difficult to plan ahead with absolutely no roadmap ahead.

He says they're limited to just deliveries at the moment, which is driving up their costs without much return:
