Homeless Figures are up across the board in Laois, Offaly, and Westmeath.
There's been a significant rise in homelessness in the midlands over the course of February
The Department of Housing's latest figures show there were 281 people in the region who accessed emergency accommodation.
Up from 245 in January, there's been a 13% increase in the number of people reporting as homeless in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.
82 of those people are children that were registered as homeless last month, 11 more than January.
On a county by county basis, there were 81 adults accessing emergency accomodation in Westmeath, 67 in Offaly, and 51 Laois.
Nationally, 15,378 people were living in emergency accommodation in February - another new record.
