1500 children in Longford and Westmeath are on waiting lists.
Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke is calling for action from the government after she received figures from the HSE on occupational therapy waiting lists in Longford-Westmeath.
More than 1500 children in Longford and Westmeath are on waiting lists, with 710 waiting over 12 months to access occupational therapy.
The figures also reveal that 31 adults with physical and sensory needs across the region have been waiting over 12 months for an initial OT appointment.
