It comes as it emerged a person scammed the health service of €30,000.
No integrated financial system within the HSE is leaving it at risk of further scams.
That's according to Laois-Offaly TD Brian Stanley, after it emerged a person had scammed the health service of €30,000 by claiming payments from two separate offices.
The Sinn Féin deputy - who's also chair of the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee - says it could be 2024 before a central database in set up.
He says they're continuously monitoring HSE spending to ensure greater accountability:
