A midlands TD is getting a new department in the Sinn Féin reshuffle.
The party has announced their team for the next General Election, and Longford Westmeath Deputy Sorca Clarke is moving to the front-bench and taking on the Education portfolio.
Deputy Clarke had previously been the party's Defence spokesperson.
Party Leader Mary Lou McDonald says Sorca Clarke has been an 'outstanding' spokesperson for the department.
