More than a fifth of hotel beds in Offaly are currently contracted to the State.
The Tourism Minister says counties most affected by hotel bed displacement as a result of the State's humanitarian efforts will be supported by funding from the Budget.
Offaly is one of five counties in the country where more than a fifth of hotel beds are contracted to the State to accommodate refugees.
That figure is 18% in Westmeath, and 10% in Laois.
Up to €10m has been allocated from Budget 2024 to support businesses and areas most impacted by stock displacement.
Tourism Minister Catherine Martin says they'll be liaising with Failte Ireland to provide those supports:
