It was created to represent solidarity in the community.
It's hoped a new Pride mural, unveiled in the midlands today, will encourage LGBT+ people to be themselves.
The Midlands LGBT+ Project and artist ADW teamed up to create the artwork in Portlaoise, which was officially launched by Equality Minister Roderic O'Gorman this afternoon.
The work of art is located behind the library, just off Meehan Court.
