Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the burglary of a church in Laois.
A quantity of cash was stolen from the money box, and alter wine was taken from the Holy Cross Church in Killeshin on Saturday evening, at around 7pm.
Gardaí say the back of the vestry was 'kicked in,' and some minor property damage was done to the building.
They are appealing for witnesses, or those with camera or dashcam footage, to come forward.
