'More Students Will Be Rewarded For Hard Work' - TUI On Junior Cert Grade Changes

Tullamore's Michael Gillespie is General Secretary of the TUI and says it will reward students.

More students will get higher Junior Cert grades under changes announced today. 

Education Minister Helen McEntee has revealed plans, which will see the top four grades evenly distributed in bands of 15 percentage points. 

A distinction will now start at 85%, rather than 90%, and a higher merit will start at 70% instead of 75.
