Deputy Nolan experienced it firsthand in her previous job as a school principal.
There's a dire shortage of teachers and it's not a new situation.
That's according to Laois Offaly TD Carol Nolan, who experienced similar conditions in 2012 as a principal of Gaeil scoil Thromaire, where teaching graduates leave for foreign countries.
This comes as a survey by the INTO, which revealed that teaching vacancies are at crisis level.
Deputy Nolan says, many more teachers are needed to cope with the increasing population and demand:
