62-year-old Dermot Higgins has become the fastest and oldest person to swim Ireland's longest river.
In just 10 days he swam the 250km stretch in a bid to raise awareness for mental health.
Over that period, he spent up to 10 hours a day in the water.
Mr. Higgins has been telling Will Faulkner on Midlands Today about his journey, and says he had special company to keep him safe:
