A programme of 118 events kicks off in the midlands tomorrow for National Heritage Week.
The theme of this year's event is biodiversity and sustainability, with a range in-person and online events between August 13th and 21st.
Some of the highlights locally include Clara Music and Literary Festival, an open day at Athlone Castle, and a guided night-time walk around Abbeyleix Bog.
