The provisional figure is to be allocated for next year.
Nearly €35 million is the provisional figure of property tax to be allocated to local authorities in the midlands for next year.
Over €12 million will be going to Westmeath, while €11.6 million will be provided to Laois and €11.2 million to Offaly.
The funding is to aid and recognise the role played by the local authority in delivering day to day services.
A provisional total of €696 million is being provided to councils across the country.
