The changes were announced at today’s County Council meetings.
Offaly County Council have elected a new Cathaoirleach.
Fianna Fáil councillor Eddie Fitzpatrick will take on the role for the second time, replacing the outgoing Cathaoirleach Frank Moran.
They also announced the new Leas Cathaoirleach in Fianna Fáil councillor Danny Owens, who replaces Tony McCormack in the role.
At Westmeath County Council, Liam McDaniels will take on the role of Cathaoirleach, taking over from Aengus O’Rourke.
Louise Heavin has been appointed Leas Cathaoirleach of the county, doubling up on her role as Cathaoirleach for the Athlone Moate Municipal District.
