It's being run by the Offaly County Arts Office.
The Offaly County Council Arts Office is launching a year long creative writing and poetry project.
They will hold a series of free creative writing workshops and work with schools as well as mentorship projects for existing local writers.
Award winning poet Jessica Traynor has been appointed to oversee the initiative and the Department of Local Goverment are providing €16,500.
