They'll be paired up with a local rep for an internship programme.
Migrants and county councillors in the midlands are being asked to a participate in a new political internship programme.
The project - run by the Immigrant Council of Ireland - aims to help migrants learn more about Irish politics by pairing them up with a local rep.
It's currently limited to people from outside the EU, and will see them shadow a councillor for one day a week over a three month period.
