A station in Offaly is set to benefit from a number of additions today.
Irish Rail is urging regular commuters to double check their trains as it's introduced a new timetable today.
It includes an additional morning service from Tullamore to Galway, which will run at 7.27am Monday to Friday.
Tullamore will also see a new later service from Heuston, with the latest train now leaving Dublin at 8.30pm and arriving in the town at 9.34pm.
However, Irish Rail has ruled out an even later service, due to limited track maintenance time.
More inter-city trains have been added to the Waterford and Galway lines, with later departure times.
