A new Junior Minister in the Departments of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, and Social Protection has been appointed
Neale Richmond has been approved for the position by government colleagues, and will take over the portfolio from Meath West TD Damien English.
Deputy English resigned earlier this week, over incorrect documents he gave Meath County Council, in relation to a planning application.
In appointing him Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said Richmond is an exceptionally capable politician who had been to the forefront in the debate around Brexit.
It also means every TD in the Dublin Rathdown constituency now holds a Ministerial position.
