'Closed For Lunch' premieres at 7:30pm this evening.
A new short film focusing on the tales of those in Offaly's peat industry is premiering tonight.
'Closed For Lunch' looks at the sector through the lens of lunch breaks and is produced through local studio Mixed Bag Media as part of FilmOffaly’s Documentary Mentorship Scheme.
Managing Director, Daingean's Garrett Daly guided the project, which premieres at the Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore this evening at 7:30pm.
It's followed by a Q&A with co-directors, Rhode's Helen Keenan and Robyn Meehan.
Ms Keenan says they learnt a lot through the process:
