600 submissions were made to identify the sports needs of a midlands town.
Westmeath County Council launched a Sports Needs Assessment last month, as part of a study on the new Regional Sports Complex in Mullingar.
The local authority met with various sporting organisations on forty four separate occasions and ten different secondary schools in the area on the issue.
It will now analyse how the new facility will fit into the community.
