People are being led to a fake Government website.

People are being warned of a new text scam advertising a false energy credit.

The messages tell people they have been selected for a discount on their electricity with a link to a fake Government website.

Anyone who received the text is being asked to delete it and anyone who has provided their personal details are asked to report it to the Gardaí.
