A proud Laois woman, Doireann is a dynamic content creator, singer, actor and presenter with a flair for connecting with audiences. She studied Irish Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, went on to achieve a Masters in Education, and trained in Musical Theatre at the Gaiety School of Acting.
Her career has spanned music, television and live performance. from being the lead singer of one of Ireland’s most popular wedding and corporate bands, to featuring in national TV adverts, presenting the music show Fresh Country, and starring in RTÉ’s acclaimed documentary Cosc – The Country Girls.
Now, she’s bringing that same passion and energy to the airwaves of the Midlands. With her trademark warmth and personality, Doireann promises listeners a Thursday night filled with timeless love songs, heartfelt stories, and a touch of magic that only Twilight Time can deliver.
Speaking about her new role, Doireann says “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to have my own show on the radio. I look forward to bringing back those memories through classic love songs and I hope you join me in getting lovey dovey every Thursday night at 10pm on Midlands 103.”
