A newly-published report from five years ago has recommended the development of a new sports hall in Laois.
The feasibility study suggests the provision of a new 12-court, multi-use, indoor hall, with the existing facilities said to be 'unable to cater for the demand.'
The 2019 report expected the cost of a new sports hall to cost in the region of €20 million, however it's believed an additional five million would need to be tacked on.
