The Northern Lights should be visible again in the midlands tonight.
Known also as the Aurora Borealis, the solar flare lit up the skies in streaks of blue, green and purple in what was described as perfect conditions to see the phenomenon.
Seanie Morris, member of midlands astronomy club and STEM engagement officer Laois, says there is another opportunity to see it over Ireland tonight.
