There are 21,792 recipients in the region, down 215 on last week.
Over 8,000 people are claiming the income support in Westmeath, 7,000 in Laois and 6,500 in Offaly.
528 people have closed their claim in the midlands in the past week, to return to work.
Nationally, almost 469,000 will get a PUP payment tomorrow, a decrease of 4,500 on last Tuesday.
