A record number of patients are waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country so far this year.
679 people are without beds today - the highest figure recorded in 2019.
It's the second highest number since records began.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected, with 63 patients waiting for beds, according to the Irish Nurses' and Midwives' Organisation
At the midlands regional hospitals, 16 people are on trolleys in Tullamore, 13 in Mullingar, and 8 in Portlaoise.
