An Offaly Athletics Club is aiming to raise €400,000 to construct a new running track.
Naomh Mhuire Athletics Club in Daingean is organising a community running event on September 26th, as they look to raise €150,000 to support its future development plans.
Since they launched in June, they have raised over €92,000.
The club aims to build a new 400 metre Olympic sized track, club house and fencing.
