An Offaly community group is donating tablet devices to nursing homes around the county.
Tullamore Rotary Club, in conjunction with Offaly Local Development Company, is delivering two devices to each of the seven nursing homes in the county.
It comes after the group recently delivered 40 tablets to school children in the area.
The club's president, Frank Kelly, hopes in a period of social distancing, the devices will help connect residents with their families over online means:
