Daingean Town Hall is going through a major revamp.
People in an Offaly community can look forward to a fully revamped town hall before 2030.
€3.4 million is being made available for the redevelopment of Daingean Town Hall, with over €531,000 secured last year through the Rural Regeneration Development Fund.
Plans for the hall include a theatre that can accommodate of up to 150 people, suitable for performances, lectures, and community events, alongside a digital hub or office space on the upper floor.
Daingean Town Hall group member Brendan Darcy says progress is moving in a positive direction.
