An Offaly company has launched a new campaign to plant one million trees.
One euro from every pot of Glenisk yogurt sold will go towards planting a tree in Ireland and ten along the Horn of Africa.
The Killiegh-based company wanted to play its part to help tackle climate change and has teamed up with Self Help Africa, who will plant the trees.
Managing Director of Glenisk, Vincent Cleary, says they hope to make it an annual event and to continue spreading awareness of the benefit of tree-planting:
