Offaly Company Repays €390,000 Tax Bill To Revenue

It included a penalty for under-declaration of income tax and VAT.

An Offaly farm machinery supply company has repaid a €390,000 bill from Revenue. 

Liam Stones Engineering based in Rhode was named on the latest tax defaulters list. 

The business was hit with a €75,000 penalty for Under-declaration of Income Tax and VAT following an audit. 

The fine was on top of an outstanding bill of €250,000 and interest of 65,000, all of which have now been paid in full.
