Workers have been told they have until Friday to decide whether or not to take voluntary redundancy.
An Offaly medical packaging company is set to make up to 40 redundancies by the end of this week.
SIPTU members working at Nelipak Healthcare Packaging in Clara have told the union they called into a meeting last week and told they had until this Friday to decide whether or not to take voluntary redundancy from the company.
Midlands 103 has contacted the Nelipak for comment but has received no response.
