Daingean's Margaret Edgill manages Mount Briscoe Farm.
An Offaly farmer has been named one of twelve new Farming for Nature Ambassadors for 2025.
Daingean's Margaret Edgill, who manages Mount Briscoe, a 46-hectare organic farm, is being celebrated alongside farmers across Ireland who are leading the way in nature-friendly farming.
The farm offers glamping, farm-to-fork events, and artisan produce, giving visitors a hands-on connection to the land.
A total of 115 farmers, representing all counties and farming systems across Ireland, now make up the Ambassador Network.
