An Offaly filmmaker says the uncertainty surrounding the future of the industry is frustrating.

Clonbollogue's Paddy Slattery is predicting a shortage of new films and TV productions next year.

He says it's great that online platforms are keeping people entertained, but thinks viewers may exhaust the available over the next six to eight months.

Paddy's new flim 'Broken Law' is being released in cinemas this autumn.
