An Offaly film maker is commending the people of his town for making his first feature film a success, ten years on.
'A Nightingale Falling' was shot on location in Daingean in 2013 and released the following year.
The film received a Best Actress IFTA nomination and An Outstanding Acheivement in Filmmaking from the Newport Beach Festival.
The film's director, and owner of the Mixed Bag Media company, Garret Daly says the experience proves the expression 'it takes a village...':
