Edenderry Community First Responders group will run the marathon tomorrow evening.
Firefighters in Offaly will brave the heat tomorrow - by doing a combined marathon in their full kit to raise funds for a defibrillator.
Edenderry Community First Responders group alongside the Edenderry Fire Service have already reached over €2,000, with the goal being €1,600.
It will be set up in St Mary's Church, with remaining funds to go towards the upkeep of the other defibrillators in the town.
The event will take place at the Derry Rovers track at 5pm.
