An Offaly Councillor is calling on the local authority to address the severe structural problems of a local housing estate.

Cllr Mark Hackett is proposing the 'taking in charge' of Clonmullen Hall, Edenderry.

The Green Party rep says 12 inch sinking roads, cracked paths and inaccessible driveways are just some of the difficulties faced by local residents.

Cllr Hackett says he will be calling on his fellow councillors to do right by their constituents at a meeting next week:
